Nord-Lock's bolt securing system uses two wedge-locking washers to secure almost any bolt in place. The system uses tension, not friction. The washers' cams lock into one another as the bolt tightens. Radial teeth on the opposite side also grip the bolt to the washer and mating surface. View Related Article
