Supras Invade Las Vegas - Crazy 8 The Ultimate Supra Celebration

Billed as, "The Largest Supra Event On The Planet" the 2004 Supras Invade Las Vegas extravaganza lived up to the hype. The eighth annual get-together, dubbed Crazy 8, was four full days of Supra fun.

Day One featured a 120-mile cruise that looped from the show's homebase, the Luxor, through the Valley of Fire and back to the Luxor. Day Two was the show-and-shine portion of the program. Things heated up on Day Three.

On Day Three (Saturday) the mightiest Supras in the land gathered at Silver State Motorsports for the Dyno Challenge and Dyno Invitational. The Dyno Challenge was open to anyone who wanted to strap their Toyota to the rollers. The Invitational was reserved for the high rollers of the Supra scene. The invitees for 2004 included Saad Saad, Ken Henderson, Ryan Woon, Horsepower Freaks, Jason Siebels, Marco Djuric, Garth Weaver, and Virtual Works Racing.

We are proud to report that our November 2004 cover car, Ken Henderson's pristine black Supra, won the Invitational by pumping 1110.2 whp ... all turbo, beating out a number of turbo/nitrous competitors. Way to go Ken!

After a day at the dyno, the party moved to nearby Las Vegas Motor Speedway at 6 p.m. for the Drag Showdown. where the Supras were really allowed to stretch their legs. The final day consisted of morning autocrossing and a champagne brunch.
