The engine is polished like a show piece, but is slated to challenge the 1,000-hp mark when the tuning program is complete--stay tuned for the numbers. The Supra-7's 2JZ-GTE Supra engine has been internally fortified with JE forged pistons and Crower connecting rods. The valvetrain sports Ferrea hardware and is commanded by HKS 272 bumpsticks.
