Toyota Celica Supercharger Pulley
The heart and soul of the Blitz system is a clutch-activated twin-screw supercharger designed by Blitz Japan. Boost pressure is limited to 0.48 bar (7 psi) by the pulley.
Toyota Celica Intake Manifold
To make room for the supercharger the factory intake manifold had to be replaced with a cast aluminum piece from Blitz.
Toyota Celica Intercooler
Keeping the charge air temperatures from running a muck is an extra large tube-and-fin Blitz Type-J (24.0 x 10.4 x 2.5) intercooler.
Toyota Celica Computer
Ensuring precision fuel and ignition timing is a Blitz-reprogrammed factory ECU.
Toyota Celica Alternator
The alternator was relocated underneath the A/C compressor and cleverly mounted in place with a new Blitz oil pan.
Toyota Celica Wheel
Even with sticky 222/35R-19 Parada Spec-2 rubber at the corners the Celica easily smokes the hides at will.
Toyota Celica Interior Gauges
Keeping tabs on engine vitals are brand-new Blitz DC series peak-hold gauges that install via suction cups.
Toyota Celica Air Intake
A Blitz LM Filter is employed to clean the incoming air prior to compression.
