Improve your footwork on the pedals by governing your clutch's pedal travel with the Arospeed Quick Clutch Adjuster. The adjuster aligns with the stock clutch stopper pad to shorten the throw of the pedal. This is useful in speed shifting situations; there's no unnecessary clutch pedal movement and you're ensured complete engagement/disengagement of the clutch. In stop-and-go traffic, driving comfort is enhanced.
The adjuster can be configured to accommodate short, medium and long throw pedals. It has a rotating arm and includes stopper bolts in three different lengths for proper fitment.
We installed the Arospeed Quick Clutch Adjuster on our project Mazdaspeed Proteg and used the long stroke configuration with the longest stopper bolt.
To set up the adjuster, we started with the bolt all the way in, then determined when during pedal throw that engagement/disengagement occurred. The stopper bolt was adjusted with enough wiggle room to confirm engagement was 100 percent.
With the Arospeed Quick Clutch Adjuster installed, quick shifts were worry-free and the raw speed of gear transitions allowed us to keep the MSP in the boost for a longer amount of time.
