At 84K miles, the stock clutch system was worn and slipping badly, clearly visible by the disc.Here's the stock flywheel before the resurfacing process.

And here it is after resurfacing. For the extra $115, this is an important thing to get done when installing any new clutch system for optimal operation.

Centerforce's Clutch system is comprised of a pressure plate, disc and throw-out bearing.

UPFD technician Mike Calicchio wasted no time getting the new unit installed. Notice the clutch goes inside the transmission housing before it goes on the car, unlike most other cars.

Once Mike bolted on the clutch, transmission and the exhaust system we were on our way. Except for the downtime waiting for the machined flywheel to come back this process seemed to only take him a little over an hour, thanks to his experience with MKIV Supras.
