There's a few reasons why you want a Spec V instead of the plain old SE-R. It has a six-speed gearbox with a Torsen LSD, a six-speed gearbox with a Torsen LSD and, oh yeah, a six-speed gearbox with a Torsen LSD. The engines are the same between the SE-R and the Spec V, but the extra gear and added traction potential make up for that.
