Position the Race Monitor body on a flat surface toward the center of the vehicle, like the transmission tunnel. Powering up the unit will emit a sound for five seconds. During that time the acceleration sensor is automatically calibrating. If for whatever reason the unit isn't horizontally mounted, the system will send off a series of blinks to let you know that the unit must be remounted and rebooted. View Related Article
