Before starting any installation project, make sure you have all the parts necessary to complete the entire project. Most of the good turbo kits should have a complete rundown of all the parts included in the kit. If you don't have all the parts, don't start the project. With the parts in hand, look for an installation manual and thoroughly read it over. Even if you have installed a turbo kit on another vehicle, you should still read the manual as there might be certain brackets that need to be modified for proper fitting. After reading over the installation manual you can start the project.

The fuel pump was also upgraded...

The fuel pump was also upgraded to handle the extra fuel volume necessary for force-induction duty. Fortunately, we did not need to remove the gas tank to gain access to the pump. Observation is key as we found that although the factory plug was able to plug into the upgraded pump, the polarity was different. We swapped the two leads and presto, the upgraded pump went in without any hassle.

Last of the parts to install...

Last of the parts to install was removing the factory ECU and bolting in the Link engine management system. We opened up the factory ECU and removed the circuit board and installed the new Link unit. The covers were reinstalled and the entire ECU was placed back. A few keystrokes on the Link engine management unit and the Miata fired right up.
