The e-RAM is dyno-proven to provide 4%-6% HP gains throughout the entire RPM range. Piston Love for Subies
MAHLE is now offering the PowerPak piston assembly kit for the 2.0-liter Subaru Turbo WRX EJ207, and the 2.5-liter Subaru Turbo STI, Forester, and Legacy EJ259. The PowerPak includes a steel nitrated 1.2, 1.2, 2.5 mm ring set, 23 mm (123 grams) high quality German steel wrist pins, and race-proven round wire locks. Developed for the street or the track, these low expansion pistons are made from high strength, high endurance 4032 aluminum alloy. They arrive race-ready out of the box: hand-deburred and coated with phosphate to protect against microwelding and pin galling. MAHLE's anti-friction GRAFAL coating is applied to the skirts. MAHLE pistons generate improved horsepower through ring flanks that are finished with an ultra flat, smooth surface to maximize the seal.
