An ample amount of thread lube should be applied to any friction surface on the fastener. We use a brush to control the amount of a mess we make. The 11mm AMS head studs then follow. Given the fact that factory hole is designed to fit a M10 head bolt, we had to use a little finesse to get the washers and nuts into place. Again, we are not worried about sealing, so proper torque is not necessary at this point. View Related Article
